Each kit builds upon the last, providing additional life-saving tools to help control traumatic bleeding. Whether you are a civilian preparing your home, school, or place of business; or a professional working in the military, law enforcement, or EMS, you can rest easy knowing there is a kit here for you!


Standard Kit - Our Standard Bleeding Control Kit includes everything you need for the purpose of stopping life-threatening bleeding. It includes:

  • A windlass tourniquet to occlude blood flow in the upper and lower extremities
  • Wound Packing Gauze to wrap injuries and pack wounds
  • Emergency Trauma Dressing to cover large wounds and maintain direct pressure where it’s needed most
  • Nitrile Responder Gloves (latex and powder free)
  • Trauma Shears to cut through even the most difficult fabrics
  • A survival blanket to lock in body heat
  • A Permanent Marker to record the exact time the tourniquet was applied 
  • An Instruction Card with step-by-step guidance on how to apply the tourniquet, wound packing gauze, and emergency trauma dressing

 

Intermediate Kit - Building upon the essential equipment in our Standard Kit, our Intermediate Bleeding Control Kit incorporates: 

(2) HyFin® Vent Compact Chest Seals; vented chest seals can address penetrating chest trauma, especially in patients with open entry and exit wounds (such as from a gunshot). These vented chest seals feature a unique design that allows air to escape the chest cavity during exhalation without being reabsorbed during inhalation. Each seal is coated with a highly adhesive gel, allowing it to be successfully applied in the presence of blood, sweat, or other bodily fluids. 

 

Premium Kit - Our Premium Bleeding Control Kit includes all contents from the Standard & Intermediate Kits, with the final addition of (1) OTC Hemostatic Dressing: EITHER QuikClot Bleeding Control Dressing OR NuStat 4x4. These hemostatic dressings contain hemostatic agents which accelerate the clotting process of blood. This helps the first responder control life-threatening bleeding faster than traditional gauze.

C-A-T® Gen 7 Tourniquet - This windlass tourniquet by North American Rescue is trusted by police, military, and first responders, and it has long been a staple in bleeding control kits. This device is ideal for controlling serious bleeding.

SAM XT Tourniquet - The SAM XT Tourniquet functions much like the C-A-T Tourniquet but is also equipped with premium features including an auto-locking buckle.

SWAT-T Tourniquet - The SWAT-T is an elastic tourniquet that’s easy to operate and suitable for use on adults, children, and K-9s. This simple yet effective device is a popular alternative to traditional windlass tourniquets, and it has wide-ranging applications in a bleeding emergency.
