True Rescue® Now An Official STOP THE BLEED® Licensee

San Marcos, California - In collaboration with the American College of Surgeons® (ACS), the True Rescue® team could not be more excited to announce our joining the Department of Defense’s national Stop The Bleed® initiative. Launched seven years ago to help raise public awareness about ways to prevent uncontrolled blood loss, the Stop The Bleed® initiative’s purpose mirrors the life-saving mission of TrueRescue.com, which is why we’re so proud to become the newest vendor of Stop The Bleed® products.

These kits are each designed to allow any lay responder with the proper knowledge to control life threatening external hemorrhage, with use of DOD/ACS approved windlass tourniquets, wound packing gauze, hemostatic dressing, and more. Nothing is more important to True Rescue® than getting these kits in the right places, in the right hands, at the right time.

Compliant with all current legislation on bleeding control kit requirements, including Texas House Bill 496, True Rescue® is enthusiastic about furthering every aspect of the initiative, from education to getting our products where they can help the most.

"Our mission at True Rescue has always been to save as many lives as possible. We are honored to partner with the Department of Defense in becoming an authorized STOP THE BLEED® vendor, helping to further achieve their goals of training and equipping the public to save lives through the dissemination of bleeding control kits nationwide, and also through educating the public about how to correctly use the kits," said Brian Graddon, CEO of True Rescue.  “We are more excited than ever to continue to spread awareness around the importance of being prepared for traumatic blood loss events, and to help save more lives in the process”.
